What an adorable shot!

Behind The Lens

Location
I provide therapy for children with Autism and this was taken at a client’s house during a home visit. My clients siblings are often around during our sessions and the little feet here belong to my client’s toddler sister.
Time
The type of therapy sessions I provided when this shot was taken were often 3 hours long, either in the morning or afternoon. This was at the end of an afternoon session and my client’s sibling was hanging out to say goodbye while I put my shoes on.
Lighting
This was totally impromptu so the lighting was just the natural afternoon/evening light coming through sliding glass doors.
Equipment
I used my iPhone and had to shoot fast because toddlers don’t stand still for long.
Inspiration
It was such a cute coincidence and it made this little girl laugh to see a grown-up with the same shoes.
Editing
I made some adjustments in Photoshop to bring out a richer feel.
In my camera bag
Usually my iPhone
Feedback
It something makes you smile, capture it.
