Location
My bedroom. She was so tiny and still growing into those fabulous paws.Time
It was late afternoon, she was clinging to the last warmth of the day and just chilling on my windowsill.Lighting
Winter has soft light often balanced out by a very blue sky and dappling through the last leaves left hanging by Autumn winds. The turquoise tint to her eyes popped and I recall feeling so much love, staring back at her, simply basking in her joy.Equipment
Eeek, this was a spur-of-the-moment, smartphone capture.Inspiration
Ms Gray was staring at me with such intent. I remember I was reading and it almost felt as if she wanted to be a part of that. Her eyes were such a wonderful expression of her personality. She would move between perching on my dresser to lazing around on the window sill. I think she got a kick out of knowing the Great Dane was outside slobbering to get at her and she was safe behind the window. Ms Gray came into my life at a time when I needed hugs and love. She ended up leaving pawprints all over my heart.Editing
Not at all. She was perfection in the setting. In my camera bag
Finepix HS30EXR - The full moon photos I get with it are amazing and the clarity of the 30x zoom captures the craters and valleys perfectly. Whether I use it at the beach, forest walks or rainy days, it never stops delivering.Feedback
A very easy to follow one .... seize the moment. We often don't see the small things and those are usually the ones that leave our hearts warm and our memories treasured.
