Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo on the outskirts of the Barnet Marine Park, in Burnaby British Columbia, as I walked across the tracks.

Time

It was in the afternoon close to 2pm on an overcast day near the oceans inlet.

Lighting

It was a gloomy kinda day ready rain at any moment, so the lighting was mostly in the clouds.

Equipment

I shot this hand held using my Canon SL2 with no flash - 1/800 sec. f/4 55 mm - ISO 400

Inspiration

I always love shots of the tracks leading somewhere we may not know. The forest behind was very complimentary to the photo and loved the depth.

Editing

I did do some post processing in lightroom to brings out some brightness in some areas.

In my camera bag

I normally have a large camouflage backpack that holds what I need. I carry a mini tripod, 24mm pancake lens,55mm -250mm Zoom lens, three batteries, portable charger, SD cards, lens cleaning kit, hand squeeze air blower, rain cover, and a cheap lightweight plastic tripod.

Feedback

Keep an open eye and follow it, there's an opportunity around any corner for a good shot
