This photo was taken on our walk home from the farm stand. My little guy, Elijah, loves playing in the corn fields. I happened to follow him in and caught this perfect moment!Time
This is one of my all time favorite pictures. It was a Friday afternoon in August around 3pm. It was a perfect day to walk up to the farm stand to get some fresh corn for dinner. After we get the corn, Elijah loves to run through the corn fields. We then munch on the raw corn the rest of the way home. The corn is so sweet we can actually eat it raw!Lighting
Nothing special about the lighting. This is just the beautiful natural sunlight!Equipment
I am a very amateur photographer. This was taken with my Google Pixel 2... just a cell phone! Hopefully I can afford a real camera soon!Inspiration
As anyone with kids knows... the pictures just happen! I love the way corn rows look. When I followed Elijah into the corn and looked up at him, I saw the opportunity for this shot. I didn't know it would end up being one of my all-time favorite pictures until the next day when I looked at them!Editing
This was taken on my cell phone so I didn't do any editing. Just hit the "Auto" button on the filters. ;o)In my camera bag
Unfortunately, I don't have a "real" camera or a bag yet. I am saving up for one though! Maybe I will win of these contests! haha.Feedback
Like I said before, kids are tough to capture the way you want! My advice for taking pictures of kids is to let them lead. I find it almost pointless to try to pose kids. The pictures just don't turn out right. I just let mine do his thing and snap away. I'll usually get at least one good one out of the bunch.
