I was fortunate enough to take this photo of this beautiful creature at our favorite local place to visit, Grant’s Farm in St Louis MO.Time
We were able to visit Grant’s Farm in mid-morning while taking the train throughout the tour.Lighting
Surprisingly the mid-morning light was not as harsh as I expected and worked out perfectly for this shot.Equipment
This was shot on my iPhone while using the back of our train seat to keep the phone steady.Inspiration
I was looking for a photo of some of the baby deer that frequently stand near the train route and was shocked to see this gigantic beauty instead. I could not pass up the opportunity to capture this unique beast in it’s habitat.Editing
