I took it in my small studio in my apartment.Time
I took this picture in the afternoon.Lighting
I darken my studio and all I add is the soft box lighting reflecting off of the ceilingEquipment
I used, my then new camera, Nikon D7500 with a 50mm F1.8 Nikon lens on a tripod. All I used was a very soft light with the soft box.Inspiration
I have been taking a lot of pictures on a black plexi glass and I was tired of taking the same type of pictures, so I went out and bought some props for my pictures. This was a small sandwich stand that I used, because of the background. I am a trained cook, so we learned presentation in cooking school, use different colors to make the dish more appetizing.Editing
All I do in post processing is to adjust the exposure and use the lens correction. I use DxO Optics Pro 11.In my camera bag
For this picture, I did not need my bag, because I had all of my lenses in the studio.Feedback
If you want quality, you need to take the time and have the right equipment for the best shot. If you work with quality, why should you waste your time and energy on poorly shot pictures?
