Behind The Lens

Location

In my bedroom at first light. I am an amateur photographer and this was when I was playing around and learning about lighting.

Time

Dawn.

Lighting

I was pretty amazed to learn that the right lighting can almost eliminate the need for retouching, Who would have thought the more of the right kind of light, the fewer wrinkles. If I could figure out a way for women to have, diffused continuous lighting on them 24-7 without the set up; I would be very popular!

Equipment

Motorola Droid turbo smartphone

Inspiration

The most Non-artistic answer is, I was testing the camera and the lighting.

Editing

I may have taken the contrast and the sharpness down slightly, but very little I was trying to see how far lighting could go to reduce editing.

In my camera bag

I have been strictly smartphone camera for about one year now.

Feedback

My master class: Diffused natural light and a bit of boredom, ta-da! That information composes 97% of my book, called: The guide to feeling like a narcissistic weirdo. Chapter 1:The "Selfie" Introverted single people, social distancing, and learning portrait photography. It just has that one chapter.
