Location
I was sitting by the pond at my home in Kerry, just looking at the dogs playing camera in hand, frodo was going mental jumping around but stopped for a second and looked at me, so I snapped as fast as I could and off he went again. :)Time
Think mid-day, 1 o clock maybe, beautiful summer's day.Lighting
totally natural lighting, very little post here, I just liked the light. Think I did a small s curve, that's all.Equipment
I'm pretty new to this, just bought a sony a6 on adverts.ie (like ebay or Craigs) a week before. spent a week learning the basics and then started shooting like mad :) no tripod for this one had a standard sony 16-50 oss wide angle lens and midsummers day, lighting.Inspiration
If you've ever had the pleasure or madness residing with a Dalmatian, it's a rare occasion when they are still :) they were bred for running next to couches way back in the day, absolute madness, the house is in bits. So when he stopped going mad and stared at me I had to capture this rare moment :)Editing
very little on this, just a slight s curve in photoshop. In my camera bag
just the basics, my sony a6 A6000 body 16-50 oss wide angle 1.8-50 oss portrait lens 55-210 oss zoom lens nd filter for the 16mm, small tripod .Feedback
Just keep shooting, morning, evening but also the day, there is beauty everywhere, with animals, the moment is more important than the time of day. I think the more you shoot the better, but do it with an eye, there is so much beauty here, everything we look at is a potential photo if we look at it well.
