It was a dark and rainy morning in the Selkirk Mountains. I wanted fast clear shots of wolves - I knew from experience that my G-Master 100-400 at f5.6 does not work well in these conditions. So I made a crazy decision that morning that the other photographers thought was silly! I attached my 85mm f1.4 G-Master Prime and hoped for a wolf to get very close. Very close is what we got! With only feet between us I found myself with a short, fat lens. The right lens at the right time! Finally!
