Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken at Mayfield UK. The fields were crowded with visitors, in search of a quieter spot I found this person harvesting the lavender which you rarely see

Time

This was taken mid afternoon having travelled down from London by train to South Croydon, then a bus journey to the site

Lighting

The day was quite overcast which was ideal for this photograph

Equipment

This was shot with my trust Pentax K3 with uv filter

Inspiration

We went to the fields to photograph the lavender, I saw this early on and knew when I took it that it would be the best of the day, because it tells a story

Editing

This one is straight out of the tin, so to speak

Two Pentax K3 with different lenses to enable quick adaptation of concept and composition. Also a range of filters.
