Location
I have taken this photo in Madagascar, near the city of Morondava, at the place named "Alley of Baobabs", a very world famous spot. I lived in Madagascar from 2015 to 2018. It is a really amazing country.Time
It was during the golden hour, about 5 pm.Lighting
There are always some very beautifull light in Madagascar. It changes depending on the time of day, the seasons, the climate, the location, the pollution from burns ...Equipment
Nikopn D810, Nikkor 24-70 f 2.8Inspiration
I lived in Antananarivo, the main city of Madagascar. Morondava is a town on the west coast about 700 km away. It takes two days of off-road driving to get there. The alley of the baobabs is a world famous photo spot and I absolutely wanted to go there to take my own pictures. I went there and it was a fabulous experience meeting the people who live there and discovering this fabulous place.Editing
Only a passage in Camera Raw and a transformation in jpeg.In my camera bag
I alays have in my bag my Nikon D810 mounted with the Nikkor 24-70 f / 2.8, two charged batteries, two 32gb memory cards, a microfiber cloth, a large plastic bag in case I have to kneel or lie down on a dirty floor and a set of polarizing filters.. And then, depending on the type of shooting I have to do, I can add the Nikkor 70-200 f / 2.8, a cobra flash with diffuser, a tripod and a remote control. When my bag is full it is a bit heavy but I am ready for any situation.Feedback
Be lucky to live in this kind of place and like adventure.
