Every day is an opportunity to see what you haven't noticed before.

Behind The Lens

Location

Wasaga Beach on Georgian Bay, Ontario, Canada.

Time

Sunset.

Lighting

Available light.

Equipment

Nikon 3200 with Nikkor VR 75-300mm f 4.5-5.6 G lens at 300mm on a tripod.

Inspiration

I was there to photograph the sunset on the first day of summer.

Editing

Used Corel PaintShop Pro 2019 Ultimate with Rotating Mirror effect.

In my camera bag

Since I took the picture I have changed my camera's. I now have one Nikon D7500 and one D5600 body. For lens's I have a Nikkor 50mm f1.4, Nikkor VR 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 and Nikkor VR 75-300mm F4.5-5.6E lens. This lens is for the Nikon full size series sensor series cameras so when mounted on a Nikon DX series camera it increases the magnification of the lens to the equivalent of an over 400 mm lens. My bag is a Lowepro Flipside 300 AW11 and tripod is Slik Pro 340DX that straps to the side of the dual strapped backpack camera bag.

Feedback

Always keep your eyes open. There is always something happening in every moment that when you let your self see it, it will be waiting for you to photograph it.
