Location
This was taken at the Montreal River bridge that joins the communities of La Ronge and Air Ronge in Saskatchewan. I am a self-taught photographer and I do not use any filters. The only editing I do is mainly cropping and occasional lightening of my photos.Time
This shot was taken in the evening, which is a favorite time for many residents to just sit by the river and watch the bird and animal activity.Lighting
This is all natural lighting. I have done zero editing on this photo.Equipment
This was shot using a Nikon Coolpix P900. I did not use any other equipment.Inspiration
This is a favorite spot to sit and watch the wildlife gather in the early spring, so I often park there and wait for something to arrive. In this location, I have captured eagles, beavers, otters, blue herons and various other birds. This eagle just sat for a long time, probably watching for fish in the river, which gave me the perfect opportunity to photograph him.Editing
I don't do any post-processing and am not sure I know what it means. I consider myself an amateur photographer. In my camera bag
The only equipment I own is my Nikon Coolpix P900, so this is what I use for all of my photography. The only other thing in my camera bag are about five or six fully-charges batteries.Feedback
My only advice would be to get a camera that has great zoom.
