This photo was taken while driving through Dixie National Forest on a road trip to Bryce Canyon in Utah. I've always loved seeing the world go by through a car window and ever since I took up photography it's been an added bonus of capturing things like this.Time
This was taken late morning just when the sun is starting to get really bright but not too much yet; which made the lighting of the trees perfect.Lighting
Lighting is all on the perfect timing on where the sun was at the moment, it really lit up the trees making their color pop.Equipment
While I normally try to avoid taking photos with my phone this was a spur of the moment picture and I didn't have my camera out so I had to grab my phone which was right next to me.Inspiration
Being from Los Angeles the changing of the seasons isn't something that's always too obvious so driving through a forest where all the trees were in different stages and practically glowing in a variety of colors was something I don't get too see too often.Editing
The clouds reflecting the sun really washed out the whole thing so I had to balance it out to make the different colors stand out.In my camera bag
Other than a camera I don't have any equipment.Feedback
This was taken from the backseat of a moving car on a phone, sometimes you just have to take the shot and not worry too much about how you do it as long as you try. Being able to adjust to a situation is a definite must, and from personal experience can often result in photos that are a bit more interesting.
