Location
This is a small town of Glen, where the railroad still operates. The fall colors caught my eye and was a great day to take photos.Time
In Montana nothing is to far away from a walk, skip or a jump away. We may not have the hustle and bustle of the city life, but we do get to enjoy the moments a little slower then most states. While driving around Montana I saw that the train hadn't stop by yet, to rustle the leaves, so I stopped to enjoy the fall age and take it in. Sat on the tracks for lunch and took this shot before the train came through.Lighting
Mother Nature provided the lighting and the colors. I just happen to enjoy it allEquipment
I used EOS Rebel T3i with the Canon 100-400mm lens.Inspiration
Like most photos, I capture what catches my eye. I have no really specific reason. Just whatever crosses my path. I'm still learning and growing with each photo. But honestly I just like to shoot what Mother Nature provides me and just hope I've capture something worth while.Editing
Again, I just took the shot. Being outside can provide me so many options and I try to catch what I can and where I can. I know that I've missed multiple opportunity but as an amateur; I still have a lot to learn. In my camera bag
Laughing, well I'm no professional when it comes to my bags. I actually use a pilot's bag. It can hold all my lens, cameras, and chargers. and to use old socks to wrap my lens to "protect" them. What I enjoy about it, is its very easy access. and I've now memorize my bag I know exactly where each lens sits and where my cameras are in that bag.Feedback
Honestly; let your heart find the moment. Allow yourself to get lost in the moment and then once you can see your photo opportunity take the shot. It may not be perfect, but it's your memories and enjoy them.
