Location
This was taken at Golithia falls in North Cornwall England.Time
It was a trip out with my nephew and daughter. We spent the day walking along the rive and many mini falls. It was probably taken early to mid afternoonLighting
It was low light for most of the day. Dense trees and under growth alongside the very steep rocky banks.Equipment
My Nikon D500 70-210 lens polorising circular filter. Remote shutter release. Tripod and a number of grad filtersInspiration
I have a love of water and waterscape photography. This was one of my first attempts at long shutter speedsEditing
Most of my photos are taken in raw so it always needs some post processing to bring out all of the vast amount of info contained within the file. My work flow tends to follow the same procedure to a point, then a few more minor adjustments with dodging and burning, and grad filters. In my camera bag
My Nikon D500, 70-210 zoom, Tripod, polorising filter grad filters. Remote timer for shutter release. Lens cloth.Feedback
Never be afraid to experiment, try to develop your own style. Try and watch as many u tube videos to give you some creative ideas and technical background. The beauty of digital is you can always delete any poor photos. I have recently revisited some of my photos cropping them into the best gallery format 16 x 9. It's how our eyes best see the world. We also read everthing left the right. Try it in your photos, it makes a big difference. Composition is key to get the right elements in the foreground, middle and distance balanced .
