Not too long ago, my closest family friend has passed away. He was in a car accident coming back from his friend's church summer retreat. He was sent to the hospital and went through surgery, but God took his breath away at 2:36 am. The last time I saw him was like 3 years ago, but lately I've been meeting with his older brother these days. I was shocked when I heard the news from his older brother and the news on the internet. I was in grief because I knew that I wouldn't see him anymore and depression hit me again. Lately everyone has been trying to make him feel happier again, but he seems to be over-pressured by the people around him. Over these days, I have been talking to other family friends and as time flies, things get to go back to normal. For me, church was difficult and I control my emotions because in my prayers. I would always pray for my best friend because whatever I would do was always so difficult. But now as I continue to pray about him, I was able to handle my emotions and be able to go through back to my old self. This rose reminds me of him back in the funeral, "it's time for us to say farewell to our beloved brother Eden until we meet him again in Heaven." Thank you and I will never forget about this beautiful soul <3
