This photo was taken in Gopalganj, Bangladesh. I am an amateur photographer and self tought. This photo was totally unplanned. I clicked this photo while I was just having an interesting conversation about her life.Time
Sometimes unplanned photos become one of the most favourite snaps. This one is too! It was a gloomy morning of monsoon, 21st June, 2018, almost years back! But I captured that time as image on 9.45 a.m.Lighting
I love natural light. I didn’t use any kind of additional light because I thought, I should take the shot as genuine as possible. Beacuse I believe this kind of image is a story by itself which doesn’t need any external effect, those shots deserve to be shown as truth.Equipment
My device was Canon 77D, 50mm prime lens. No other additional gadgets.Inspiration
Her story is the most interesting part. She was almost about 85 years old then. She didn’t remember the timeline of her life either. But she addressed her stories like "when the liberation war took place..." "Durning the great flood..." "When the famine started... " She talked like time doesn’t bother her anymore! She just said at conclusion - "My hair didn’t turn gray in one morning! " I assumed her wrinkles faced a lot, her eyes seen a lot, her heart bear a lot but still her soul was able to bear a lot more.Editing
I made it black and white. I have a partiality about black and white images. I believe her expression and nostalgia matched the bnw.In my camera bag
Normally I carry a Canon 77D camera, 18-135mm USM lens. Sometimes 50mm prime lens. As simple as it is!Feedback
As an amateur, it's pretty tough to advise others! But I personally believe, if anyone love simplicity, she/he should capture the true story and present it as simple as truth.
