This young (pup) Meerkat was one of a number in the mob . Each one following an adult and calling for food. The adults would dig under small tussocks of grass and extract grubs that it would then give to the pup. We spent some time with a mob of meerkats happily foraging for food all around us. Photographed on the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, Botswana, Africa.
