After the long winter up here in the northern parts of Ontario, plants have finally started greening up, in this plant’s case, red. I only had my phone and I was walking around the community and I notice that this plant is springing back to life. It’s a striking red foregrounding greyed rocks while the sun is setting down low in the horizon. I went down close to the ground and snapped this image.
