Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in my backyard on the roof of my shed...

Time

this photo was taken first thing in the morning, likely round 6:15AM...

Lighting

natural outdoor lighting... wasn't a great day for lighting....

Equipment

Just my Nikon with a 70-200 lens. Hand held, not on a tripod..

Inspiration

It's not often you get chance at an action photo like this let alone in my yard. I quite like birds and photographing them, and so this made it even more special.

Editing

I did a little to help brighten up the photo, and a little cropping.

In my camera bag

I normally have a tripod,an 18-55, 70-300 and a 35mm prime lens. Always some cleaning equipment, a couple extra batteries and one extra Card.

Feedback

Keep your camera ready to go, and handy. If you need to go digging or change a lens, it's too late...
