Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken during a hike in the lakes at Brandlehow's jetty over Derwent Water.

Time

This was taken in the early afternoon, there were very few walkers around and no boats were passing so I took the opportunity to catch the breeze hitting the water undisturbed.

Lighting

I wanted this image to reflect the warmness of the sun over the hills and jetty so set the asa to be about 800.

Equipment

This was shot on a canon 400d with a 35-135 lens. F8.

Inspiration

I wanted to capture nature whilst out on my walk and the moment struck.

Editing

I don't usually like to do much post-processing. In this case, I didn't do any!

In my camera bag

Canon 500d, a tripod/monopod, gone basic filters, screw on micro lense.
