This duck was sitting on a wall surrounding a pond full of 18 to 24 inch Rainbow Trout. We came to an understanding while I was in the area, that I would not take any of its "buds" from the pond. The Bonneville Fish Hatchery is the oldest of its kind in Oregon (b. 1909). It raises Rainbow Trout, Sturgeon, and Salmon. It is located along the Columbia River in northern Oregon.
