This is one of my roses from the backyard in Texas

Time

It was during mid day on a very sunny day.

Lighting

Being in the direct sun which was to hard and so I moved the branch into the shade to get the the detail

Equipment

Camera: Canon EOS 50D Aperture: f/5.6 ISO: 200 Exposure: 1/200

Inspiration

How could anyone walk away from a perfect rose

Editing

I use Lightroom and Photoshop. The rose was originally red and so I desatreate,and upped the brightness in Lightroom. I also use photoshop to remove any backgroundamd to soften the focus

In my camera bag

I carry extra batteries, graduated polarizing and neutral density 2 stop filters and memory card and my 24-135 lenes

Feedback

The best advise I have is don't be afraid of post processing and just play until you find the picture your imagination sees
