This was mid-afternoon around 3 o'clock

I just upped the exposure a little bit because this was in the shade.

Inspiration

There were fallen Redwoods sporadically around the National Park and this one caught my eye because it was so vibrant and looked like it had just fallen. Even dead trees can be very beautiful

Nikon D100 and a Nikon coolpix L840 along with my phone of course.

Feedback

Keep a look out on the ground, not just in your line of sight while you walk. Especially in the Sequoia Park. Yes, there is beauty up in the big trees but also in those that have fallen.
