I loved this bird and the sun was shining perfectly for this shot. If you zoom in you can actually see a worm in it's mouth.Equipment
I used a Nikon CoolPix L840.Inspiration
I saw this bird up in the trees and I could not believe it's color. And I could tell it had a worm. I zoomed in as far as I could so I could get a few shots and it ended up going up a couple branches right to the very top for perfect positioning. I am always inspired by birds.Editing

Keep your eyes up in the trees. Normally people would just look into the Canyon, which is beautiful of course, but they miss all the wildlife in the trees and on the ground near them. If you're there awhile actually take a look around you, in all directions.
