Hanging Rock is quite famous for the movie 'Picnic at Hanging Rock'...no, it's not a true story and Miranda was nowhere to be seen! Hanging Rock is a former volcano and is a few kilometres north of Mt Macedon, north-west of Melbourne, Victoria. Even though the mystery of the movie is fiction there is definitely a 'feeling' about this place...faces in rock formations and twisted dead trees. The one captured here reminds me of an alien eating a goanna, quite creepy!

Thanks David, Hanging Rock has always had a spooky feeling, probably because of the movie 'Picnic at Hanging Rock'. Total fiction but it lingers on the mind!
