The best view ever? For me, views from the top of Table Mountain, looking over Cape Town and another iconic peak - Lions Head - are a very good contender. It is a must for anybody traveling to Cape Town. The climb is quite steep, but there is a cable car operating on calm days. But when you do visit, be prepared to walk just in case. The wind is unpredictable and it can happen that while you admire views, it picks up and cable station will close down. I hiked both ways and I would do it 10 times more if my time there allowed it.
