South Africa is heaven for bird watchers. It is a biodiversity hotspot for many clades, birds being one of them. One can watch them for hours and hours and will be taken by not only a wide variety of colors and shapes but rather even more so with different interesting behaviors. On this photo a beautiful female red-winged starling (Onychognathus morio), with unusually strong yellow neck-head colorations, feeding on flowers.
