The lake I frequently paddle has a large heron population so I'm constantly searching for an unique perspective to display these marvelous birds.

Paddling out on a lake a heavy fog rolled in. I captured this shot just as the sun began to burn through the abyss.

With the lake still frozen, a beautiful sunrise greeted me, while out eagle hunting.

On Lake Wilhelm lives an amazing set of roots from a toppled tree, that resemble a dragon. I have dubbed him Willie the Lake Wilhelm Dragon.
