Have you ever seen a truly dark night sky? It is a great tragedy that we have lost the breathtaking true night sky due to light pollution. That is why I took a little more artistic liberty with that photo than I usually do. It is composed of 2 of my own photographs. One is a long exposure night time Venice and the second is actually my very first try with wide-field astrophotography ever.
