Seeing the little red was like a dream come true. I've waited so long to visit this iconic lighthouse in New York. Wasn't an easy path since we had to traverse quite an amount of winding roads plus the ups and downs too. Once there, the view took away all the tiredness. Built in 1889 and finally decommissioned in 1948, this lighthouse still stays lit, but for tourists and visitors. The beacon acts like an attention-grabber for enthusiasts. Keep shining little red. May you always stay lit in our memories.
