A long exposure Black and white shot underneath the streets of Chatham, Kent, UK.

This place was a deep shelter and telephone exchange during the second world war. It has been abandoned for decades and is no longer accessible, I was lucky enough to explore it with my camera a few times before it was sealed off permanently.

This entire shelter is in total darkness so all lighting was painted in using various torches during the long exposure and took me around 10 attempts running back and forth from my camera until I was happy with the final lighting.
