"Dark Sky Looming"

After our week of sunshine, I decided to jump in the car straight after work and drive to the north coast to photograph the setting sun at Chapel Porth, St Agnes.

Being pushed for time, I didn't do any weather checks - why would I after the week we've had?

But as I approached Chiverton Roundabout, maybe 10 minutes from the location, I found myself driving straight into an overcast sky and fog!

With no time to stop, figure out another location (which would probably have been on The Lizard Peninsula), I carried on regardless - hoping the fog and sky would lift.

On the beach, the fog at least was gone, but a heavy sky loomed over.

So, I tried to work with it and create a moody image to reflect my demeanour at the time! ;P
