Behind The Lens

Location

Rocky Mountain National Park. Denver, Colorado.

Time

Early in the morning. I don’t remember the exact hour but it was sunrise.

Lighting

Capturing the sunrise over the pine trees and the reflection on the frozen water was just too epic to pass on. It was dark and moody like seeing it out of a movie.

Equipment

24-70mm on my canon 6D mkii

Inspiration

I wanted to take the perfect photo that reflected our yearly anniversary trips with my lovely wife. This is one of the photos I thought I can print and hang at home.

Editing

The only post processing in this photo was enhancing the colors a bit, and the crop ratio.

In my camera bag

I’m all about canon gear. All day!

Feedback

Just shoot your shot, don’t worry about anything else but the moment.
