Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in Central, Hong Kong. I was looking around then I saw these buildings with a shape of face.

Time

We were just arrived in Hong Kong around 9:00 AM, I remember we woke up early around 4:00 AM from Macao then we were travel via ferry boat to Hong Kong.

Lighting

At first I wanted to take this photo a long exposure shot. But one of the reasons that's why I decided to take it quickly was that my travel companions were in a hurry to go to the hotel to get rest.

Equipment

Nikon D7100 and Tamron 17-50mm f2.8. No other equipment was involved.

Inspiration

Hong Kong is one of the best places for landscape and cityscape photography. I was mesmerized to this place, the cleanliness and their cultures.

Editing

I am an avid fan of black and white so I used photoshop for dodge and burn.

In my camera bag

The equipments usually placed in my bag are Nikon D7100 body, Nikkor 50mm f1.8 for portrait, Tamron 18-200mm for street photography, Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 for street and landscape photography. And an external flash and of course tripod.

Feedback

Practice makes perfect. I will continue to take photos until to the last click of my shutter (eyes).
