Behind The Lens

Location

This image was shot in my garden. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to picture it since they only bloom for a week.

Time

I believe it was late morning. I walked outside and seen them blooming and just had to run in to get my camera.

Lighting

All I did for lighting was bracket my shot in camera and then I picked my favorite.

Equipment

I shot this with my Nikon D3100 with a 50-200 mm lens. No other equipment was used.

Inspiration

I always try to look for the beautiful, especially in my garden. This was no different.

Editing

I try to never post-process, and this image was no exception.

In my camera bag

I carry my Nikon D3100, the 18-50 mm lens, 50-250 mm lens, and sometimes a tripod. That's it!

Feedback

My advice is to always take more than one shot! Go lighter and darker so you can pick the best one later.
