Photograph titled "Black Flame" Is a photo of a burned giant sequoia tree in Yosemite National Park California. It is tragic when the massive forest fires in California rage but behind the flames follows the birth of new trees. The sequoia pine-cones will only release their seeds within the intense flames. So while terrifying and destructive the flames are rejuvenating and brings new life. The shape of this burned sequoia captured my imagination as we hiked through the majestic fire.
