A scene from darbhanga ghat. Mithun Bhattacharya, the person in the frame is playing Yidaki, a trumpet like instrument. In India, this instruments are only made in Rishikesh and Varanasi. Originally Yidakis are made from eucalyptus trunk, but now he makes these with waste woods. Apparently, he was annoyed with the shutter sound, which interrupted his concentration. So, I sat down next to him for a chat. He claims that he connects to the birds on the other side of the river and they come to this side in a group. ( It happened few times, donno if that's a coincidence.) This, he's been doing for last 10 years in Varanasi, where he came after quitting a normal life in France.
