Great shot! I've added this shot to my "Best of the Best" ART Collection. Like the expression, composure, lighting . . . to me it is a piece of Art.

Location
I took this photo in a small prairie cabin that happened to be on a hike I was on. The lighting was excellent so I had to get a shot.Time
It was near the end my hike around sunset. I had a nice overcast day to work with too so that helped alot.Lighting
The lighting here was perfect. I tend to always shoot on rainy overcast days cause I like the gloomy and moody aesthetic. The day I took this was mostly overcast but the sunset light was just meaking out enough to get me through the dirty window.Equipment
This was shot on a Sony A7RII with a 90mm GM Macro lens.Inspiration
I was mostly inspired by the lighting. I looked at my hand and loved how the light was interecting with it so i set up a shot and got this photo.Editing
I edited thos photo in Adobe Lightroom. I have a love of contrasty moody color grading so thats what I went for.In my camera bag
When I'm taking photos I always have my A7riii and A7RII on me plus the only lenses i have so far which are my 16-35mm 2.8 gm sony lens and the 90 macro. Sometimes i even bring my cine lenses for fun. I usually have a few nds and cp filters and a tripod for those delicious long exposure shots.Feedback
If anyone wants to caputre an image like this I would say to not shoot in the middle of the day or on a cloudless day. The clouds act as a huge diffuser giving very soft light. That light is always better at or after sunset in my opinion and this photo was taken almost in blue hour giving it that depressing low light blue tone.
