Behind The Lens

Location

I took it in a forest called Roldskov close to Rebild bakker in Northen jutland,Denmark we where some photographer friends that was on a spring photowalk

Time

I can't remember the time of day when I took it but was before noon in the spring on 26 april 2015

Lighting

it all natural lighting as I at that time my bag didn't fit a flash and it was also not need to use flash sometime natural light is the best

Equipment

I use my old trusted Nikon D7000 with a Tamron SP 90MM handheld

Inspiration

it was on a photo walk in the woods together with others photographer everybody looked up to the tree tops and I thought I would look down just to be different then the rest and then I saw this tiny snowdrop between some big roots from a tree

Editing

yes I used Photoshop camera raw but as it's from 2015 and I can't find the raw image anymore but normaly when I post-processing a image I use the basic sliders and add some sharpness to it

In my camera bag

back then I had my Nikon D7000 and a nikkor 18-200mm and sometimes my Tamron SP 90mm in as the bag was small I normaly didn't have a flash with me but if I leave 1 of the lens at home I would had a SB-600 in todays bag is a lot more inside camera have been upgraded to a Nikon Z6 with holy trinity of F-mount lenses and of couse the Tamron SP 90mm else there is room for a SB5000

Feedback

to find a snowdrop growing between roots of a tree is not easy but I would say look the other way then all the others and you maybe lucky to find something interresting as I did
