Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in the Wolayta region in Ethiopia, in a farming village.

Time

I was walking in the countryside of Soddo when I met this lady she was very happy to show me her calf and asked me to take a picture of it which I then printed and the next day brought it to her, it was a big party

Lighting

I love natural light and I use flash only to lighten faces

Equipment

This was shot taken with Nikon d800 and lens 35/70 2.8,

Inspiration

was in Etiophia in the Mission of the Capuchin Friars of the Marche region in Italy, to photograph the children adopted at a distance, and in my free time I used to travel around the villages to photograph people in their daily habits.

Editing

I shoot in raw and apply a minimal post production

In my camera bag

in my bag also nikon D200 , Panasonic lx100, lenses Nikon 20mm 2.8- 80/200 2.8- 105 micro 2.8- 50 micro 2.8 benro travel tripod

Feedback

when I travel in Africa or India I really like to photograph people, their uses and customs and I often go to the markets and to the train station where it is easy to meet different ethnic groups. I apologize for my poor English language
