My family and I made a trip to the northern towns of the state of West Bengal recently and this shot was taken in a cactus nursery in Kalimpong, a colorful hill-town in the district of Darjeeling. For the longest time,the first thing that would come to my mind if I heard the word "cactus" was "thorns". Not that our visit caused a breach in the preeminent composition of cacti, it certainly made me believe that if a cactus could resemble a cheerful winter universe, there could be hope anywhere.
