My first visit to New Zealand in May 2018 was one of the most amazing trips I had in my entire life. We stayed at Wanaka for 7 nights. I was chasing the sunrise for 8 consecutive days and each morning was different. This is just one of my light chases using my fish eye lens on a manually stitched panorama. It may be a lonely tree at Lake Wanaka but it is certainly the most photographed tree in New Zealand. Every day before the sun rises, photographers (professionals, amateurs, hobbyists) congregate in front of this tree. However I had the leverage because I stayed just minutes away from it. So I had this tree all to myself as long as I want.
