Ornithologists would probably refer to this bird as a Leucistic Red-Tailed Hawk; I like to think of it as a Spirit Hawk. Not a true albino, this red-tail has retained a small amount of pigment. ( A very small amount in this case; such as the beak, eyes, and few feathers) I have been fortunate enough to see this "Spirit Hawk" more once, allowing me to capture this image of it perched fairly high in a pine tree along the Chattahoochee River in Georgia.
