Location
This is a photo from the beautiful little river in Hemsedal, Norway. There is a suspension bridge over the river, and it gives a fantastic view to the waterfall "Rjukandefoss".Time
25.july 2015 11:25 a.m.Lighting
There was clouds on the sky, but an opening in the southwest let some sunrays light up some part of the waterfall.Equipment
Photo is taken with Canon EOS 6D on a tripod. The lense I used was Canon EF 24-105 f/4.0L IS USM @ 40mm and a pola filter.Inspiration
My wife and I saw a sight sign at the road where it said "Rjukandefoss" and we stoped the car to see what it looked like. Rjukandefoss in norwegian means something like smoking waterfall in english.Editing
I have used Lightroom to bring out some details in the shadows. Also used sharpen a bit and used Adobe landscape. Also used graduated filter on the upper part of the picture to bring out some details in the clouds, and removed one dust spot in the sky.In my camera bag
Since this picture was taken 5 years ago I have changed some of my Canon equipment. Now I have an EOS 1DxII with ef 500mm L f/4.0 II and 1.4x and 2x converter which I use for birds and animals. I also bring with me EOS R6 with RF 24-70 f/2.8 L and a set of Lee graduated filter and a Little stopper for long exposure pictures. Some times I also bring with me EF 100mm 2.8L macro, an EF 100-400 f/4.5-5.6 L II IS USM and an EF 17-40mm f4.0 L and a Sigma 50mm 1.4. I have ordered an Canon Control Ring EF-EOS R Mount Adapter so I can use my EF lenses on the EOS R6, but since there are delivery problems (Covid19?) I have to wait for this.Feedback
Remember that even though you maybee don't have fancy equipment, the best camera is always the one you bring with you. Even mobile phones now take great pictures, so go out, have fun and enjoy yourself. :-)
