Met these two brothers in 2008, while on assignment in the South East of Turkey, on top of the hill where the ancient Van Fortress is located.

Interestingly, Achaemenid King Xerxes left a trilingual cuneiform inscription (around 475 BC) on the southern slope of the mountain below the fortress.

The inscription is known as 'Xerxes I's inscription' (also known as the XV inscription). The inscription consists of 27 lines of writing in Old Persian, Babylonian, and Elamite.
