I used to visit this part of Wales, Porthdinllain, as a kid. I decided to revisit for my 40th Birthday. The sky on that night was epic & having not tried any astral photography before I decided to give it a go. One thing led to another & my creativity began to flow. I'd packed some battery operated fairy lights & decided to experiment with some long exposure self portraits. I set my camera up on my tripod, set the timer & began spinning my lights around, creating abstract patterns under the stars.
