Beth's most favourite thing in the world is swimming. We regularly take a walk down to the river together, I throw sticks in for her to fetch, she never tires of this. I observe her pattern which becomes almost ritualistic, each time she retrieves her stick she gently places it beside my feet, shakes. then looks at me expectantly, knowing well that this routine will play out until I have had enough. This time I took my camera & wanted to experiment with her movement, fast shutter speeds & capturing an element of humour from the expressions created each time she shook.
