Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on a sunny afternoon in Tybee Island, Georgia, USA. I am an amateur photographer, and I like to see life through the camera lens, and show others what I see to others.

Time

Pre-Sunset.

Lighting

This is a composite image, made of about 18 photos, processed through Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. This was one of my first attempts at stacking in this way.

Equipment

Nikon D7200, with 17-70mm Sigma DC f2.8, and an old but sturdy Sunpak tripod.

Inspiration

I love piers. The waves against the wood. The violence and serenity.

Editing

I took my 18 photos in quick succession, and in various settings.

In my camera bag

Nikon D7200, Sigma 17-70mm f2.8, Nikkor 50mm f1.8, among other items.

Feedback

Be patient! Look at videos. Do not be in a hurry - either while taking the photo or during post-processing. Learn from others. Look around. Find your style.
